  • Copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles depend on the insurance policy selected by you, your family, or your employer. Mental health providers cannot alter the terms of your insurance policy.

    We strive to determine your coverage and anticipated fees before therapy begins. However, it is your responsibility to understand your policy's terms.

    Insurance claims typically process within 10-15 business days. There may be instances where your insurance denies coverage, in which case you will be responsible for the payment.

    Please inform our practice immediately of any changes to your insurance. Failure to do so could result in charges for services not covered by your new policy, for which you will be liable.

  • Cancellations Procedures and Fees

    At Insight Therapy, we understand that life happens. To ensure we provide the best care and maintain availability for all clients, we have established the following policies:

    Cancellations and Rescheduling

    • Notice Requirement: Please provide at least 24 hours advance notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment, excluding emergencies. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in a $125.00 fee assessed to your account.

    • Sliding Scale: The late cancellation/no-show fee is $55 for clients under a sliding scale option

    No-Show Policy

    • As a courtesy, your provider may call or text you within the first 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment if you have not arrived. If you do not respond or are unable to join, the appointment will be considered a no-show, and the $125.00 fee (or $55 for sliding scale will apply.

    • Important Note: If the courtesy call or text is not made by your provider, this does not exempt you from the no-show fee.

    Missed Appointments

    • If you miss or no-show for 3 consecutive appointments, your provider will discuss whether therapy is the appropriate fit for your needs at this time.

    • If the practice is unable to contact you or you fail to reschedule for 30 days, your file will be considered closed due to inactivity.
