Allison Playdon, MHC
Allison provides individual therapy for teens and adults who are ready to address depression, anxiety, body dysmorphic disorder, eating disorders, neurodiversity, and trauma, whether ongoing or rooted in the past. She is also a strong ally and advocate of the LGBTQI community. She helps individuals develop healthier thinking patterns, coping strategies, and communication skills. Clients often find that Allison helps them gain insights into how their past experiences impact their current lives and relationships - finding connection to their inner child to promote healing.
Allison believes the therapist's role is to meet clients where they are on their healing journey while gently encouraging their growth. She strives for genuine connection and seeks to collaborate with clients to set meaningful goals for lasting change, balancing her role as both a human and a therapist.
