Yaren Altan, AMFT

Yaren is a bilingual (Turkish/English) provider whow works with individuals and couples who are ready to address panic attacks, anxiety, trauma, depression, and relational conflicts. Yaren also works with individuals from system-impacted backgrounds—such as those affected by incarceration, foster care, or immigration—and marginalized communities, including Veterans, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. She helps individuals navigate questions such as, “why do I feel isolated and overwhelmed?” Yaren focuses on creating a reflective and supportive space for you to confront and navigate fundamental concerns, helping you to enact meaningful change

Yaren specializes in assisting those who feel disconnected from themselves or others, helping clients build a stronger sense of self and address feelings of isolation. She collaborates with clients to set goals and define success - and provides tools to navigate experiences of oppression, exclusion, or social stigma, towards a path toward healing.

Therapy is tailored to each individual, utilizing CBT, MBCT, and Gottman to provide practical tools and emotional support. Yaren focuses on empowering you to enact meaningful change.
