Transform Your Relationship Communication
In this workshop, you'll gain practical skills to enhance your relationship communication and deepen your connection with your partner. Led by two Gottman-trained providers with over a decade of experience working with couples and groups addressing Intimate Partner Violence, this workshop is designed to be a step before or in conjunction with couples therapy.

This group is NOT RECOMMENDED for couples who:
Need couples therapy to address specific and ongoing issues
Currently engaging in or at risk of Intimate Partner Violence
Currently or at risk of substance abuse
Are needing to address complex individual issues, such as severe mental illness, (e.g., severely depression, complex or acute PTSD)
Meet Your Facilitators:
Lashanta Petroski-Ackley, LICSW, has worked with the Veteran population for the last 15 years as well as having her own private practice. She is a Level II Gottman-trained therapist who has been working with couples since for almost a decade. Due to experience she has extensive knowledge with couples of all stages of life, with an expertise in managing transitions including military deployments, becoming parents, and retirement.
Mayumi Kimura, LICSW, is a second-generation Japanese-American and a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. She is a Level II Gottman-trained therapist who worked with couples dealing with trauma. Much of her focus was with male Veterans with history of Intimate Partner Violence, especially during her time as a Program Manager of the Housing Unit for Military Veterans (HUMV) at the Middlesex Jail and House of Correction. She founded Insight Therapy and Consulting, LLC as a way to meet the unique and unmet mental health needs within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
